ADA "Relations" is a post-competition exhibition showcasing works qualified for the 28th International Amber Jewellery Design Competition AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD 2025 "Relations." The main idea of the competition is to select the most talented artists who present the most interesting approach to the presented topic (each year the competition is held under a different theme).
ADA is the world's most important competition promoting Baltic amber as a means of artistic expression, and one of the oldest artistic jewelry competitions in Europe (held since 1996). The competition is strictly artistic in nature, promoting the value and meaning of creative expression. It is currently one of the most recognizable artistic competitions in the European contemporary jewelry community.
The exhibition will present works by over 40 artists, whose interpretations of the theme of RELATIONS were appreciated by the jury, including: Malte Guttek, director of the Goldsmithing Society (Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst e.V.) and manager of the Goldschmiedehaus in Hanau; Yutaka Minegishi, artist, jewelry maker, winner of the Munich Art Prize (2017) and the Herbert Hoffman Award (2019); Bryna Pomp, curator and collector of contemporary jewelry, director/curator of the MAD About Jewelry exhibition at the Museum of Art and Design in New York (since 2011); Magdalena Szadkowska, interdisciplinary artist (sculpture, jewelry, textiles), lecturer at the Institute of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź; Olga Zobel, art historian, collector, founder and owner of Galerie Biró in Munich.
