This is the XXVII Amber Seminary, over which the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship took the patronage. Speakers of the seminar will be conservators of monuments, art historians and archaeologists, who will bring the issues related to the maintenance of amber and discuss the challenges that this beautiful but extremely demanding material puts before the researchers. Amber, which is not only a natural treasure, but also a history carrier, is the subject of many scientific research that allows you to better understand its properties and protection methods.
The seminar scientific manager will be dr hab. Eng. Ewa Wagner-Wysiecka, prof. PG, a specialist in the field of chemistry and maintenance, whose experience in this subject will provide a deep, interdisciplinary perspective for conservation challenges related to amber and other resins in the world.
The seminar is a great opportunity to broaden knowledge about amber and its maintenance and to meet experts from various fields who examine and work with this fascinating material on a daily basis.
