The exhibition will feature selected works from the "AMBER 2024 > Other Criteria" , the core of which is a carefully selected collection of unique objects by leading Tricity amber craftsmen and artists with an undisputed artistic or design portfolio, including foreign ones.
The exhibition is a representative review of current amber art and refers to the educational mission of its organizer - the International Amber Association . It shows the full artistic and performance spectrum of amber: from its sculptural possibilities of free form shaping, through the richness of amber's natural features, to experimental objects.
A separate space consists of jewelry prototypes using, among others, innovative CAD/CAM techniques, 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) and examples of creative use of artificial intelligence algorithms made by students of the Faculty of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.
