Association of Creators of Goldsmiths - a creative association founded in 1991 in Warsaw on the initiative of Marek Nowaczyk. It brings together most Polish artists and designers dealing with goldsmiths. He currently has 120 members. In 1991-2011, the president of STFZ was Andrzej Bielak. Currently, this function is performed by Marcin Tymiński, who continues tradition and cares for the heritage of its predecessors. STFZ has great merits for the creators' environment and for the development of contemporary goldsmith in Poland, both in artistic, legal, organizational and promotional aspect. The goal of the Association is to promote goldsmiths in the country and abroad and to provide STFZ members with wide access to industry information, contact networks and current and archival materials. STFZ implements its goals by co -organizing exhibitions, competitions, plein -airs and courses. STFZ regularly organizes the artistic jewelry competition Presentation, which is a review of the creative achievements of goldsmiths from Poland, and from 2018 also from abroad. The Association together with the AMBERIF (Gdańsk) and Gold Expo (Warsaw) industry fair co -creates a gallery of designers, i.e. a passage presenting the original and unique projects with high value not only workshop, but also artistic, enabling goldsmiths to present in national industry events. The Silver Festival, every year, honoring its own prize of its laureate in the International Goldsmith Art Competition. The distinction is awarded in the form of a statuette designed by Jacek Byczewski. In the STFZ space, it is extremely important to exchange views, thoughts and ideas, mutual inspiration, as well as the promotion of creative statements in jewelry as a full -fledged field of art.
