The brand's creator is Emilia Kohut, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where she specialized in the Faculty of Industrial Design. While still a student, she discovered her passion for jewelry techniques, and amber became her source of inspiration and a medium for self-expression. Born and raised in Gdynia, the designer runs her own studio there, where the idea for the ION brand was born.
