JEWELRY This field of study was launched in 1955, as the first one in Poland and for many years the only one in the country. The core subject prepares students to work independently in the design of jewelry forms (especially jewelry) and to implement their own projects. In conceptual work, we focus on unrestrained creation, using drawing and painting skills, while taking into account material and technological possibilities. Workshop classes support theoretical classes in the field of technology and exercises in technical and professional drawing. Ultimately, students should be able to combine artistic requirements with technological conditions and the function of the work. The works are made of silver, non-ferrous metals, precious and synthetic stones using various jewelry techniques. By definition, these are unique works, but they can be reproduced (due to form). The school has a well-equipped jewelry workshop.
