Update of the Gdańsk World Capital of Amber project strategy
The updated strategy for the Gdańsk World Capital of Amber project was initiated by the Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz. We were committed to ensuring that the work on the document, defining key directions for action over the next 10 years, was inclusive. Therefore, many individuals and institutions associated with amber and its promotion were involved in the strategy development process, including representatives of amber organizations, designers, jewelry and amber product manufacturers, representatives of Gdańsk universities: the Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Gdańsk, as well as the Amber Museum, the Gdańsk Tourist Organization, the Pomeranian Regional Tourist Organization, and representatives of the Gdańsk City Hall.
Collaboration with Natalia Hatalska-Woźniak's Infuture Institute, which analyzes and forecasts trends, was also a key element of the strategy development process. The result of this work is a comprehensive strategy, which was approved by the Presidential College on August 22, 2023.

Joint implementation of activities resulting from the strategy
We are thrilled to have received the green light for further activities focused on building a positive image for amber in 2024. These include developing the project's brand identity, creating key advertising creatives, and implementing an intermedia marketing campaign.
Additionally, we want to leverage the potential of the Saint Dominic's Fair, which attracts a large number of visitors, to promote amber with a completely new and engaging approach. These plans leave ample room for collaboration with numerous entities. We cordially invite you to get involved in this year's activities and to submit additional ideas and initiatives.

The more codes you share and the more often they are used, the higher your position in the exhibitor ranking, which means a higher discount level:
1st place – 50% discount 2nd place – 35% discount 3rd place – 25% discount 4th–10th place – 20% discount
The minimum requirement is to use at least 25 codes to be considered for classification. Codes are unlimited and available in the Electronic Exhibitor System. We all have a real impact on trade show attendance—we encourage you to actively distribute codes. We will announce the competition results after the trade show concludes.
